What Have We Been Doing?

We are busy, busy kindergarteners! There is so much to explore the first few weeks of school!

We have been reading lots of books about Kindergarten. We loved "The Kissing Hand" and "Kindergarten Rocks!"

We also do tons of art projects. We can take them home or hang them in the hallway to show everyone what we are learning. Here is one where we practiced coloring and cutting after we read "The Kissing Hand."

In Kindergarten, we get to do worksheets! Worksheets are another way we show our teachers, friends, and parents what we have been learning. After we read, "Miss Bindergarten Gets Ready for Kindergarten," we did a worksheet about the things Miss Bindergarten had to do to get ready.

This year, we are going to learn how to write! Before we can start learning how to form our letters, we need to know which shapes we use. All of our letters are made with big lines, little lines, big curves, and little curves.
